You & Her
Wondering why every time you ask that gorgeous co-worker of yours out on a date she seems to be too busy washing the dishes? Been turned down too many times for your ego to handle? Women are usually easy to read when being asked out because it's either she wants to or she doesn't. But if you think you're the perfect guy for her and she still doesn't want you, well, maybe you have one of these annoying traits. You're boastfulness takes the wind out of her It's okay to boast. Really. You can tell her everything you want about your high profile company, that magnificent flat you own in Central Park or that elite private plane, but watch out; you may catch her yawning or looking elsewhere not every girl likes heavy boasting. Women don't like to hear too much about your achievements that may make her feel not good enough or too blown by your boasts especially if you’re bragging about stuff you don’t have. Even if you really have everything you say you have, some women don’t find material stuff that important. Don’t blow her off with grand gestures and beyond-necessary remarks. Instead, impress her with your normality and ability to make any simple gesture as important as those grand. You don’t know the meaning of wait Most women are scared. There’s a lot of commitment when it comes to going steady and having sex and bringing home to your parents. Being too aggressive will scare her. Don’t find yourself in a situation where you’re already surprising her by bringing her to your parents and you don’t even know her last name! Some women actually appreciate you asking her before making any rash decisions about your relationship – if you’re even in one! You have the you, you and you syndrome A self-centered person is always disliked most of the time. If you’re looking to date this woman, why talk about yourself all the time? You might as well date yourself instead. Be sensitive to her needs – even if you’re in the courtship or asking out period. Add gentlemanly acts like opening the door, helping her carry stuff, offering her a ride – the usual sweet treatment – women still fall for it! During first dates or hang out periods, let her talk about herself as well. Let her know you listen to her and you’re interested in knowing who she is. The Too Nice Guy Idea - You’re Boring! No woman likes a guy too nice. Being nice may be okay, but too nice that you can’t even work up a verbal fight on a topic you have a complete opposite idea on, will make her bored. Just because she’s a woman doesn’t mean she can’t handle the big stuff. Don’t underestimate her wants, strengths, opinions and personality. Give her a challenge by debating with her opinions or by beating her in Poker or Chess. Take her to thrilling places and experiences that you think will enthrall and entertain her. At the same time, let her know you’re open to new stuff. Be simple, nice and formal one day and at night, rock her world with adventures she never thought she could experience – whatever and wherever that experience may be. On the other hand, if you think you don’t own any of these loser behaviors, maybe she’s just not into you. Either you’re ugly and have bad breath or she may just be in love with your best friend. Which is a less painful idea – you choose.

If you are a nice guy you are probably wondering why it is that you always finish last when it comes to women. You can sit there and listen to them talk for hours, you go out of your way to open doors for them or even buy them flowers, but when it comes to going out on dates you are constantly turned down. The reason for this is that when it comes to dating nice guys always finish last because they are so nice. The biggest problem that nice guys have when it comes to dating is that there is no attraction for the woman. If a woman is not attracted to you how they are going to be able to date you, there has to be some kind of spark to get the woman interested. Most nice guys do not spark a woman’s interest because they are not that confident around women. Women are not attracted to guys that are not very confident, mainly because the guys don’t do enough to be noticed. Now if you happen to be a nice guy who is very confident you can attract a woman’s attention, so you won’t be finishing last. Another reason that nice guys finish last with woman is that they sit and talk to women in a way that a woman expects their girlfriends to do. For example, if a woman has a problem with an ex-lover, she will sit and talk to her girlfriends for hours about it; guys who listen and discuss the problems like a girlfriend would find it hard to move out of the friendship role. Women have a hard time looking past the friendship because they have shared so many private issues with them, that it just doesn’t make sense to date them. Sharing intimate secrets does not increase the level of intimacy between two people; it can actually act as a sexual turnoff. You can still be a nice guy and listen to her problems, but you have to take on a more masculine role, rather than the feminine role. While it is true that most of the time nice guys, finish last for a variety of reasons, that doesn’t mean that it always has to be that way. If you are a nice guy and are having a hard time, getting dates with women, you need to make some drastic changes. You need to change how women view you, while still being the nice guy.
If you are ever wondering why that first date with the beautiful girl that you thought went so well didn’t go anywhere afterwards, then here are a few hints for the next time. There are a few mistakes that a lot of guys make without even realizing it that really tune a girl out and completely turn her off. The first major turn-off on a first date is talking about other women. You already know that sometimes it seems like you can’t please a girl. Well, it is the same in this case. If you talk about an old girlfriend like you really don’t like her and constantly mention all the bad things she did, the girl you are with will start to wonder what you are thinking about her. She will also wonder how many people you say these things to. After all, her own reputation could be at stake. On the other hand, if you are saying positive things about your last girlfriend or girl that you dated then she will feel like she is in competition. Something that men usually don’t understand is that women have a jealous reaction to such things. Some compose themselves better than others, but many times it is there. If she feels this competition, chances are she’s not coming back to you for another date. The topic of the last girl you were with is one that is better left out. The second major first date turn-off is trying to impress upon a girl that you are not like other guys. Most girls know that men are all alike in what goes around their heads even though they may not understand it. The last thing they want to hear is that you are not like that. She wants you to be yourself. If you say a little dirty joke, if you are flirty as you normally would be, she will accept it better than denying that it ever goes through your head. Constantly talking may just be a sign of nervousness on a first date, but there are signals that girls usually send when it gets to be too much. You know that girls like it when a man listens. If she is listening to you, then you need to give her a chance to talk as well. Maybe this ‘listening’ time, even if you mind is wandering to other topics, will calm your nerves a little. Becoming too emotional on the first date is usually another one. Sensitivity is one thing, but becoming really emotional if you don’t really know a person could cause the notion of lack of control and instability. It could also mean that conversation is getting too personal too quickly. While women do like men to express their emotions, you may want to control them until you get to know her a bit more. It might take a lot of effort but girls like their dates to be mannerly. On the first date you are creating a representation of yourself and although you should be yourself, eating quickly and finishing dessert while she is still on her main course is not a brilliant act and is a big turn-off. Take out her chair at dinner, say please and thank you, wait for her to finish her meal before ordering another course, and so on. For a man who does not do this on a first date, it will be difficult to get a second one if he wants it. These are all first date turn-offs that happen all too often. Unfortunately, you good guys out there miss out that the beauty because of them. Knowing about them and fixing these mistakes can make it all the better for next time. Treating her well, being mannerly, and keeping conversations away from other women will serve you well.

What does Forbes have to say about the world’s wealthiest people? – everything! The Forbes list of wealthiest people in the world is basically the standard when it comes to compiling the who’s who list. And there is no wonder why. They only calculate the wealth associated with the individual separate from government leaders. This keeps the list very accurate. (Photo: www.wikipedia.com) Bill Gates (or William Gates III as he is currently listed on the Forbes’ wealthiest list) of Microsoft is the wealthiest man in the United States and the world. He has now beaten Warren Buffet for this title for sixteen straight years. A slower computer market is threatening this entrepreneur’s holdings, but this software visionary's net worth is down only about $7 billion in the last 12 months. He is currently worth about $40 Billion. (Photo: www.wikipedia.com) Warren Buffet, the second wealthiest man in the world, has held a position on the Forbes wealthiest people list the longest. But judging from his standing in the list and his over $8 Billion dollar investment in Goldman Sachs earlier this year, it is certain that Warren Buffet won’t cry over his losses much. Although his shares in Berkshire Hathaway fell about twenty percent (20%) in the last twelve months, he is still worth about $37 Billion dollars. (Photo: www.wikipedia.com) Carlos Slim Helú known as Carlos Slim is a Mexican engineer, businessman and philanthropist largely focused on the telecommunications industry. He is currently the third wealthiest person in the world. He has a net worth of around US $35 billion through his holdings. He started his telecommunications company by purchasing standby letters of credit (SBLC) which enabled him to obtain guaranteed loans which provided the capital to start the business. Carlos Slim has substantial influence over the telecommunications industry in Mexico and much of Latin America. (Photo: www.astrozoom.com) The next spot on the Forbes wealthiest people list belongs to Oracle founder Larry Ellison. He is currently the fourth richest individual in the world and is worth about $27 billion now. He too has seen some setbacks in his industry, but he has very little competition at his level of business performance in his sector. Ellison currently owns 22.59% of Oracle Corporation that is worth between $20 billion and $25 billion US dollars. (Photo: www.wikipedia.com) Ingvar Feodor Kamprad is a Swedish entrepreneur who is the founder of IKEA (the home furnishing retail chain). He is the richest person in Europe and the fifth wealthiest person in the world, according to Forbes magazine. His estimated net worth is around US$22 billion. Karl Albrecht of Germany ($21.5 billion), Mukesh Ambani of India ($19.5 billion), Lakshmi Mittal of India ($19.3 billion), Theo Albrecht of Germany ($18.8 billion), and Amancio Ortega of Spain ($18.3 billion) all come in just before the Walton siblings of Wal-Mart fame on the Forbes list. The next four spots on the Forbes list of wealthiest people in the United States belong to the Waltons from their father’s Wal-Mart empire. But the heirs, Christy Walton ($21.5 billion), Jim C. Walton ($19.6 billion), Alice Walton ($19.3 billion), and S. Robson Walton ($19 billion) should be proud that they have kept their business empire strong for 17 years since their father’s unfortunate passing in April 1992. What a tribute to their father’s legacy!

Oprah Oprah Winfrey is a household name, although women mostly watch her, many men have enjoyed her show. Oprah Winfrey has just recently announced that she is going to be leaving her current television show to launch her own network called Oprah Winfrey’s Network. Oprah Winfrey’s new network is scheduled to launch in 2011, and many people wonder what that will mean for CBS, ABC, and NBC. People are left wondering about the future of network television because of the appeal that Oprah has. Most people who have watched her show have become dedicated fans, men, and women alike, so it is only natural for them to want to go to Oprah’s new network to continue hearing from Oprah. While Oprah does not claim that she is a journalist, many people compare her to popular news journalist Walter Cronkite. Many people have used Oprah’s show to launch their products or to make a splash in the news, such as Sarah Palin using Oprah’s show to launch her book tour. With how much attention Oprah’s current show gets it is only natural to wonder how her new network is going to do. Most people already agree that Oprah’s new network is going to be a huge success, mainly because it is tied to Oprah Winfrey, most items that have her name tied to them do relatively well for an extended period of time. The only question that people are left with is why everything associated with Oprah Winfrey does so well. There is no one specific answer to that question, but it can be generally described as her appeal to her viewers. One of the main reasons that people are appealed to Oprah is because of the content that she provides all of it is attractive. In addition to her content being attractive, none of that jerry Springer style stuff, all of her information is trustworthy. You know that if you heard it on Oprah’s show it can be trusted. Oprah takes the time to investigate her topics, which makes her even more trustworthy. All in all Oprah Winfrey is a trustworthy person, but she also commands people’s respect. These are both things that will be brought to Oprah’s new network, which will help make it a hit. Something else that Oprah is known for is being a reliable source of information. Rather than listening to the network news programs for current information, more and more people are listening to what Oprah has to say because of how current all of her information is, and she only talks about what is considered important. You can find information on her website, talk show, and magazine and soon you can find current events on her own network called OWN. Oprah’s appeal is not the only reason that her new network is going to be a huge success, it will also be a huge success because of how well planned out it is. Oprah Winfrey does not just jump in to things without first testing the waters, which is what has made her practically recession proof. One thing that Oprah has been busy doing to help ensure the success of her new network is partnering up with various people and groups to help bring more entertainment to OWN. For example, Oprah has just recently announced that Own is collaborating with Ro*Co Films International to bring documentary film club to the Oprah Winfrey Network.

These CEOs are responsible for running every kind of business that you can think of, including biotechnology firms, technology companies, healthcare business, and many more. H-Plan
The declining economy has exposed a growing problem in the United States; Obama and the Democrats’ healthcare plan may be the answer.  Healthcare was a platform that President Obama vowed to address during his 2008 presidential campaign.  Over the past two years, the downsizing of jobs, mass foreclosures and failing businesses have revealed a gaping wound-the need to address healthcare issues across the nation.  The problem is that insurance is necessary to even consider affording many of the procedures that are necessary for proper health, not to mention the rising costs of prescriptions. The Plan President Obama had made a statement that established his position that he was dead set on creating a change within his first year in office.  “So let there be no doubt: health care reform cannot wait, it must not wait, and it will not wait another year." –President Obama, February 24, 2009.  Originally, the healthcare reform was to be proposed in the form of a bill to be passed by Congress to counter the elevating costs of healthcare.  It would include more control in the choice of doctor and enable all Americans to afford healthcare.  Other key points that are proposed are lowered costs for businesses and the government, continued coverage with unemployment and solutions to pre-existing conditions. Results With any plan for change, the success can only be measured by the results.  During the first year of Obama’s presidential term, several changes have already occurred.  President Obama and the Democrats’ healthcare plan has affected millions of Americans.  On February 4, 2009, President Obama signed the Children’s Health Insurance Reauthorization Act.  This will offer health solutions for 11 million children.  A defining change has been his American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  It basically aids those who have lost their jobs by offering a 65% subsidy, making coverage affordable.  The Recovery Act had provided $500 million for the healthcare workers (doctors and nurses) for training.  Also, $1.1 billion has been allocated for doctors to make better decision in regards to treatment options.  Finally, $1 billion was allocated to the overall health improvement of Americans and to lower the cost of healthecare. Political momentum Early Christmas morning the Senate passed healthcare legislation.  This was a huge victory for President Obama as it opens the door to a bill that will lower the level of uninsured and reduce the power of the insurance industry.  Despite Republican opposition, the Democrats were able to secure the majority with a vote of 60 in favor and 39 opposed.  The vote ended a 25 consecutive day session. Whether or not Americans agree with Obama and the Democrats’ healthcare plan, something has to be done.  It is estimated that if the current situation were to continue with no change, then by the year 2025, one in every four dollars of the country’s economy would belong to healthcare.  With the staggering figure of $2.2 trillion spent by the United States for healthcare in 2007, the need for a change is obvious.  The United States has fallen behind other countries in both cost and quality of healthcare.  President Obama and the Democrats’ healthcare plan has made significant changes in his first year in office, and more changes are assuredly on the way.

Free Music
With all of this new technology being created there are also free online music sources out there too. The problem is finding it without coming across scams. There are some websites that give you a free trial for music as long as you give them your credit card number. Now, not all of these are scams, some are legitimate. Unfortunately, some people have taken this idea and turned it into fraudulent activity. The sites that offer thirty days or even fourteen days for free before asking for a payment are the better ones to go for. There are websites available through which you can skip all of that hassle. Grooveshark.com is a website that is growing in popularity in North America, the UK, and in Europe because you can search for any song and chances are, they will have it. It is the easiest tool to use to obtain free online music. You can search through the title or the artist and whatever search results come up, will be displayed for you to choose from. You can create playlists from these and all of the information pertaining to the song will be displayed as well. Napster is another source of free online music. They have expanded in recent times to include free music streaming along with their other services. They have new releases as well as many older songs and you just have to search for them. While there site is a little more complicated than Grooveshark.com, you can browse for songs here that you may have forgotten were in existence.  To play the full songs you have to be a United States resident otherwise you will only be permitted to download partials. These songs can be downloaded three times. Only then will you need to purchase the song. Rhapsody.com is one legitimate site that offers a fourteen day trial for free online music. They give you the option of downloading MP3s and burning them onto a CD. They have searches and their new releases features as well. For this type of site, it is suggested to use it as much as possible within the fourteen days even to see if it is worth a subscription. A new type of site is Pandora.com which is a special type of internet radio where you can search for the new and old songs alike. They call it a more personalized radio experience. Unlike any other type of radio, you choose what you listen to and it is still free. There are similar sites to this that are becoming more available and increasing in popularity such as Yahoo Radio. Playlist.com is a great site for searching for free online music and creating playlists. They have many of the new releases as well as the oldies. It is an easy website to search and it has little news tidbits on the side about various artists. These are some really nice sites to check out for that music of your choice, and it is for free. There is a lot of choice out there, much more than there used to be. The only problem is finding enough time to search for all of those songs.

Kristen S
Sexy, hot and gorgeous green eyes are the characteristics that make up this total bombshell – Kristen Stewart. Born on April 9, 1990 in Los Angeles from John Stewart and Australian born Jules Mann-Stewart, the captivating young Stewart grew up in Colorado and Pennsylvania and was surrounded by the filming industry. Her mother worked as a Hollywood script supervisor and her father, as a TV producer and stage manager, thus creating a world of creativity around Kristen who developed a love for writing, acting and singing. This young, hot celebrity may be just rising in the movie industry, but there is definitely something about her that keeps tongues wagging. One of the things that make the lovely, cool Kristen Stewart one of the hottest, young ladies in the business is definitely her role in the movies Twilight and New Moon. Awaited to reprise her role in Eclipse, Stewart shows her talent in acting as the clumsy, head-over-heels in love and highly sexy (Ehem, ehem, remember the scene where she had to run to save her vampire? – undeniably sexy) Bella. Not only that, this half-Australian babe starred in the controversial but highly appreciated movie “Speak” as the traumatized Melinda Sordino at the age of 13 years old – and did a great job in it. She also played the diabetic daughter of Jodie Foster in the Hollywood movie Panic Room. Aside from all her movie offers (including starring with Dakota Fanning in the Runaways and Nikki Reed in K-11), Kristen Stewart is also hot just by the fact that under the camera, she seems to be as real as can be – nervous, clumsy, fidgety. Although there have been numerous negative rumors about her constant “clumsiness and nervousness” in front of the camera, Stewart has displayed coolness under all the pressure of bad press. Just as all other stars have their own expiration date, unfortunately, so does every celebrity. Kristen Stewart may be the hottest celebrity as of now but with some flaws and noticeable mistakes, fame can die down just as fast as blowing a candle. To keep a celebrity movie star shining in the spotlight, they must have one thing – undeniable talent and charm. Now, that doesn’t mean Kristen Stewart doesn’t hold these, definitely, she’s one of the most charming celebrities in the business – but with certain uncontrollable vices and the inability to hold yourself in front of many people, stars as bright as Kristen Stewart, can perish into the darkness of stardom – more commonly known as rehabilitation. Still, 19 year old Kristen Stewart is bound to make changes for herself to adjust to the lifestyle of a celebrity and to learn the ins and outs of staying on ground as her star continues to shine. Sure enough, she’ll also be able to enhance her talent in acting. In due time and with lots of learning, Kristen Stewart will still be one of the most inspiring, hottest celebrities that ever graced the screens – and this time, not just because of the Twilight saga.

Weekend
There are many great places in the world to visit with friends, but if it is an all guy trip, the options may change.  It could be a reunion, a bachelor trip or just a reason to get away; no matter what the reason, there are only a few select cities that score big in the category of ideal fun.  There are many different factors that compose the ideal city for entertainment value:  Nightlife, dining and entertainment are a few of them. New Orleans, Louisiana-of the many cities that guarantee a good time, few compare to the scenery of New Orleans.  Located on the Gulf of Mexico, this historic town has a never-ending supply of fun.  If a visit to New Orleans is planned, it wouldn’t be complete without a stop in the French Quarter.  Mardi Gras is the most popular event, but it may be difficult to book reservations, unless they are made well in advance.  Dining-home style Cajun/Creole cooking is a real treat and worth checking out (Brennan’s, Mr. B’s Bistro, Alpine Restaurant).  Nightlife-dance the night away at the many hot clubs on Bourbon Street (735 Nightclub, Bourbon Street Blues Company, Cat’s Meow, Dungeon Club).  Sporting events-the New Orleans Saints will provide excitement on the football field and the New Orleans Hornets will cover the basketball court.  Deep sea fishing and casino action both add to the flavor of New Orleans. 2. Las Vegas, Nevada-“Sin City” is a name that has been earned by this gambling town in the desert.  The largest attraction of this oasis in the sand is the casinos.  The strip is the most popular area for attracting gamblers from around the world.  Blackjack, roulette, craps and poker are just a few of the games offered.  Caesar’s Palace offers a classic appeal of the old style of Las Vegas, blended with a modern appeal.  Nightlife includes the newly built Colosseum, offering entertainment from the likes of Cher and other stars.  The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino offer one of the hottest pool parties in the world at Rehab.  Visit the Bellagio for some of the finest cuisine.  Even the buffet is prepared with a style known only to a gourmet chef.  Las Vegas is one of the greatest places to visit with friends, but don’t expect to get much sleep, as the fun continues 24/7. 3. San Francisco, California-The City by the Bay has world renowned, spectacular views.  Okay, everyone knows about Coit Tower, Fisherman’s Wharf and Chinatown.  Other points of interest include Twin Peaks (the highest natural point in the city-and yes, even cool with a bunch of guys), the wine country of Sonoma County (due north across the Golden Gate Bridge) and Sausalito (on the north side of the bay).  The nightlife includes a plethora of night clubs spread across the city.  Check out Minna Gallery, El Rio, Ruby Skye, Apartment 24 and the Tonga Room at the Fairmont.  There is no shortage of sports venues-the San Francisco 49ers are a classic gridiron team, the San Francisco Giants play ball in a park that is conveniently located downtown and the Golden State Warriors play basketball in Oakland. 4. Miami Beach, Florida-Clear water, warm weather and much to do sets the tone for this subtropical getaway.    South Beach offers the perfect setting-with the sidewalk cafes and bars on Collins, time seems to stand still.  The nightlife is among the best with such clubs as Club Madonna, Set, the Purdy Lounge and Mansion.  Try the fine dining at the Forge (known for classic seafood and steaks), China Grill, Tantra or the famous Blue Door Restaurant at the Delano Hotel.  If that isn’t enough, try the deep sea fishing, the casino on the water or rent a jet ski to splash along the inter-coastal.  Key Biscayne also has a golf course, as well as the Doral.
